Selecting Required Fields
This feature allows you to select from a list of fields that are required in specified screens. When working in a screen with missing information in a required field, a message screen opens prompting you to enter the missing information. You must enter the information in the required field in order to close the screen.
To select required fields
- Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
- Select your profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
- Click on the Required Fields link under Basic Settings.
- Select one of the links from the left pane in the Required Fields section.
- Make your selections in the right pane.
- Select Save and Close.
Note: Categories may contain sub categories with available fields you can mark as required. Fields that are required by default are checked with a gold lock icon next to the field.
